Closing Ceremonies

Well, we are more than half-way through the season and it is time to start preparing for closing ceremonies. Closing Day will be held on Saturday, May 31st and will begin at 9:00 am. On this day, we will have a trophy ceremony, closng announcements and a Major League All Star mini-tournament. Please prepare to bring your family and friends and spend a Saturday at the ball park. This has been a fun and rewarding season and we hope to go out with a bang!

Tournament Bracket

Prior to Closing Day and after the regular season, we will hold a double elimination tournament for the Major League. You can find the bracket on this website by visiting any of the Major League pages (league home, team page, calendar, etc.). On the right-hand side of the page is a table called "Major's Documents" that contains links to all of the documents pertaining to the Major League. Please feel free to visit this page and download the Tournament Bracket. Please note that there is a bug in Internet Explorer when trying to download Microsoft Office documents. The tournament bracket is a Microsft Excel spreadsheet ending in the extension xlsx. When you click on the link to download the bracket, if the "Save File" dialog does not show the file as having the extension xlsx, please change the extension prior to saving the file. If you save the file and it does not have the extension xlsx, please rename the file with the xlsx extension.

Tournament Notes

The game times will be slightly different than the ones during the regular season. The early games will begin promptly at 5:30 pm and the late games will begin at 7:00 pm unless the early game runs over due to a draw. There are no draws in tournament play, so the game will go on until there is a winner. Currently, the bracket is labeled by seed number and not team. To determine the seed of your team, please visit the home page for the Major League and view the League Standings table. The place that each team is in at the end of the regular season will determine the team's seed. For example, the first place team will be the #1 seed and the last place team will be the #6 seed.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of our board members by visiting our contact page here.
